Mt. Hood/Columbia River Gorge

Mt Hood and the Columbia River Gorge Tour, Great Scenery.  (Year round depending on the weather).

Oregon's Mt. Hood is located just east of Portland Oregon. This Tour leaves Portland Oregon and travels east from Portland on the south side of Oregon's Columbia River Gorge. We will travel on the Old Historic Columbia River Gorge Hwy. The Columbia River Gorge was carved millions of years ago by massive floods that occurred during the ice age. We will visit Multnomah Falls 620 ft, Latourell, Wahkeena, and Horsetail Falls (See Columbia River Gorge Tour). At Cascade Locks Oregon we will stop for lunch. Then its on to Hood River Oregon, the wind surfing capital of the world. We will travel up the northern slopes of Mt. Hood threw the Hood River valley, well known for its fruit orchards, and then on to Government Camp at 4000 ft and finally to Timberline Lodge at 6000 ft (Weather Permitting). Tour starts about 9:00 AM and takes all day.
